Welcome to The Perry Hotel

Perched high on a bluff overlooking Lake Michigan, the Perry Hotel stands as a proud symbol of the early 1900s when northern Michigan tourism was in its infancy. Built in 1899 one of some twenty original luxury resorts hotels, Stafford's Perry Hotel is the only one still in operation.

Best hotel in Petoskey

“The manager, Rick, and his front desk staff were so helpful in making sure I had a room that suited, and they fitted me in when the hotel was virtually full. The housekeeping, restaurant and bell services staffs were helpful and sympathetic to my situation. I cannot say enough about all these folks. The Perry is a comfortable (best beds I've ever had in a hotel) and unique hotel. It has a quiet graciousness unavailable in a chain hotel. I would recommend it to anyone who values good service, pleasant surroundings, and unique decor.”

A True Northern Experience

“One of the best things about the Perry Hotel is its location. It's just steps away from the Petoskey waterfront and the downtown shops and restaurants. You can also easily walk to many of the area's attractions, such as the Little Traverse Bay Historical Museum and the Crooked Tree Arts Center. The staff at the Perry Hotel are friendly and helpful. They are always willing to go the extra mile to make your stay enjoyable. The hotel also offers a variety of packages and amenities to make your stay even more special. ”

Granddaughter Northern Michigan Trip

“My 17 year old granddaughter thought all was "Charming". She thoroughly enjoyed her breakfast of Cherry Bread French Toast with Maple Syrup. The room's decorations she found "Lovely". In addition she loved using all the different stairways and walking the halls and viewing the pictures.”
